The cost of a California Smog Inspection varies dependent on the type of test your vehicle requires.

Vehicles receive different types of tests requiring differing equipment dependent on year, where vehicle is currently registered and classification of vehicle.

Cars and Pickups

2000 & Newer $41.75
1996-1999 $51.75
1995 & Older $61.75
Add $10 for Engine Cover Removal
(Rear engine Porsche or vans etc)

Motorhomes & RV’s

1996 & Newer $81.75
1995 & Older $91.75

Certificate: $8.25
Re-Inspection Discount $20 off
Pre-Test:Same price as inspection

The Certificate fee of $8.25 is mandated by the state if the vehicle passes the smog inspection. This fee is not included in the cost of the test and is charged only if the vehicle passes. This fee is not charged if the vehicle fails.

Alltech Automotive DOES NOT ADD ON any ETF fees or extra charge for diesel trucks. Alltech Automotive DOES NOT charge extra if the vehicle requires inspection at a STAR station. Some other inspection stations in the Fresno and Clovis area will charge you extra for these items.
